American Airlines Group Inc. placed passengers back on Boeing Co’s 737 Max for the first time in the US since the aircraft was banned almost two years ago due to two devastating crashes.American flight 718 departed Miami International Airport at roughly 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and landed at New York’s LaGuardia Airport at 1:10 p.m. American said the flight was mostly full and the airline President Robert Isom was among the passengers. Daily round-trip flights between Miami and New York are the start of American’s plans to slowly return the Max to service. An American spokeswoman stated the airline has initiated the announcement of aircraft variations while boarding to make certain that passengers are aware when they are flying on a MAX. American airlines will also inform passengers if they suddenly scheduled to fly on a MAX due to a change in schedule. The airline didn’t see any passengers rebook their flights on Tuesday regarding worries about flying on the Max.
