US stock index increased on Friday, with tech shares gaining after a withdrawal in the previous session, as Oracle’s strong quarter restored confidence that tech-oriented corporations are coming out stronger from the coronavirus epidemic. 

The cloud-services corporation (ORCL) added 3.4% in premarket trading after its quarterly results overpowered expectations and it signaled a recovery in client spending due to increased remote working-led demand. 

Peloton Interactive Inc (PTON) surged 11.2% after it overpowered quarterly expectations as the exercise bike manufacturer recorded a surge in subscribers and gained demand for its fitness products during the coronavirus pandemic.
